About Us

1946: The commitment to excellence began when Donald J Basch Sr. "Pops" finished Cleveland Trade School.

1972: "Pops" became a Certified Master Watchmaker.  "Pops" is one of only 2 in Cuyahoga County.

1977: Norm decided to join forces with his Dad and start his apprenticeship.

1988: Norm attended the New York Rolex Certification school earning the "Rolex Certified Watchmaker certificate".

By 1994, Norm had attended many seminars and workshops sponsored by the Ohio Watchmakers Association and the American Watchmakers Institute, learning the repair process for newer watch models.

1994: Realizing the need for public accessibility, "Basch's Moment In Time" opened its doors to a retail showroom with visible repair benches.

November 1999: After a successful 5 years at this location we expanded to double our size.
